The second batch of the faculty of medicine ceremoniously took their first step in the journey of clinical, starting their first clinical rotation at Teaching Hospital Kuliyapitiya on 15.02.2022.
The 66 students who qualified after successfully completing the challenging 2 years of pre-clinical education walked into the day with pride and confidence.
All the staff at the hospital, led by Dr. P Werawaththa, the director of the hospital, welcomed them warmly and gave them a nice day of orientation. Dr. Lalindra Dias (Consultant physician) and Dr. Krishani Dinapla (Consultant Microbiologist) shared their experience with students while guiding the path. Many consultants from the hospital graced the event.
Dr. Sanjeewa Bowatte, Dean of the Faculty, and the staff of clinical Departments were there to wish all the best for their clinical training and the future.
