Department of Microbiology​

Facilities

  • Department of microbiology includes a Multidisciplinary common microscopic laboratory that is shared with the Department of Parasitology which has the capacity to accommodate 75 students.
  • Laboratory is equipped with one Teaching microscope, 75 student usable microscopes, RT-PCR machines, Autoclave Sterilizer, Incubator machine, centrifuges, and Preparation rooms.
  • Laboratory Freezers are capable to preserve samples up to -80 °C.
  • The Department is also in the process of establishing a new Separate PCR laboratory.
