Faculty Office

The Faculty Office of the Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, serves as the administrative backbone and the primary student-support hub for the Faculty. It provides comprehensive academic and administrative guidance to medical undergraduates from their initial enrollment through to their graduation as healthcare professionals.

Recognizing the rigorous nature of medical training, the Faculty Office plays a pivotal role in the seamless execution of:

    • Academic Coordination: Ensuring the effective delivery of the integrated medical curriculum.
    • Examination Management: Overseeing clinical and theoretical assessments in strict adherence to medical education standards.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and transparency in student records and university proceedings.

By working in synergy with clinical departments, teaching hospitals (Kuliyapitiya and Kurunegala), university governing bodies, and the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC), the Faculty Office ensures that all administrative processes uphold the prestigious policies and quality benchmarks of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
