The Dean, faculty staff, and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, recently participated in the auspicious foundation stone-laying ceremony for the new ‘Budu Medura’ at the Delanwathha Sri Siddharthaaramaya temple in Thummodara.

Demonstrating the faculty’s commitment to community and spiritual well-being, a collective financial contribution was also made by the faculty to the temple’s building fund. This event highlighted the strong bond and shared values between the university and the local community.
