Facilities of the Department

The Department of Pathology is equipped with facilities that effectively support undergraduate teaching, practical training, and departmental academic activities. The department houses a fully equipped, state-of-the-art histopathology laboratory that supports demonstration, specimen handling, and pathology-related practical work. In addition, the pathology museum serves as an important educational resource for specimen-based learning, allowing students to appreciate gross pathological changes in a structured and clinically relevant manner.

The department also maintains a microscope laboratory for student use, enabling hands-on learning in microscopic pathology and reinforcing theoretical knowledge through direct observation and interpretation. Together, these facilities provide a strong practical foundation for pathology teaching and help create a dynamic learning environment for medical students.
