Dr. Nalini Jayakody assumed duties in the Department of Parasitology of the Faculty of Medicine with effect from November 2020 as the first ever academic in that department. She has obtained her MBBS degree with Honours from Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. After graduation she has worked as a medical officer in several renowned hospitals. Because of her keen interest in medical education she has selected this Faculty for her prospective future.
She had been a student of Devi Balika Vidyalaya Colombo.
