Dr. Tharindu had been a student from Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala and has obtained the MBBS degree in 2019 from Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
He has started his career as an intern house officer in the Ministry of Health at the Teaching Hospital, Kuliyapitiya.
His keen interest in teaching and research has lead him to join the Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka as a probationary lecturer in the Department of Physiology. His research interests are in the field of Cardiovascular and Endocrine physiology.
