Professor Priyantha Perera assumed duties as Chair Professor of Paediatrics in the Department of Paediatrics

Professor Priyantha Perera assumed duties as Chair Professor of Paediatrics in the Department of Paediatrics. He is a graduate from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo with an MBBS Degree and later obtained a Diploma in Child Health and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics.  He completed his training at reputed hospitals in the United Kingdom. He is a fellow of Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians and a member of the Royal College of Paediatrician and Child Health. He received the titular honorarium ‘Deshamanya and Deshashakthi’ from the government of Sri Lanka.  He has more than 30 research Publication in reputed International / Local Journals.
