The staff development committee of the faculty of Medicine has organized one day workshop on “Ethical review in Medical Research” on 09th March, 2021 at Lecture Theatre 1, Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
Prof. Priyantha Perera (Professor in paediatrics) and Prof. A. Pathmeshwaran (Professor in Public Health and Ethics Review Trainer) who conducted the workshop explained the responsibilities of Ethics Review Committee (ERC) member and the reviewing process of a research proposal. The academic staff of the faculty of Medicine attended the workshop and they took part in group activities followed by the presentation and discussions.
