A series of workshops were conducted by the Faculty of Medicine at Labuyaya premises to develop teachers guides for paraclinical and clinical disciplines and on assessment methods in undergraduate examinations. Assessment principles workshop was conducted by Professor Joe Perera of International Medical University, Malaysia.
The teachers’ guides workshops for para clinical and clinical phases of the medical curriculum were resourced by the reputed academics form national universities. Pathmeshwaran, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Dr Devani Dangahadeniya, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Prof Dhammika Dissanayake, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Dr. Roshitha Waduge, Faculty of Medicine Peradeniya were the resource persons at these events.
