On the invitation of Dr. PGCS Bowatte (Dean of the Faculty of Medicine) and Senior Prof. Udith K Jayasinghe (the Vice-Chancellor of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka) and with the participation of Senior Prof. Janitha A Liyanage (the Vice-Chairperson of the University Grants Commission) Senior Prof. Sampath Amaratunge (the Chairman of the University Grants Commission) declared two building complexes was constructed with the funds from the AHEAD Grant on the 12th day of January, 2021.
